What is the name of this project and why?
We named this project the Fall City Refresh because it perfectly captures the transformation that took place in this beautiful and well-loved home located in Fall City. While the home had great charm and character, it needed some key updates to make it more appealing to a broader range of potential buyers.
Through our detailed pre-listing consultation, we provided recommendations for everything from fresh paint colors to updated finishes and fixtures, helping to modernize and elevate the space. We also coordinated with contractors to ensure the home was updated and ready to shine before hitting the market. The result? A refreshed, inviting space that showcases the home’s true potential, making it more attractive to today’s buyers.

Who was our client?
In this project, we had the privilege of collaborating with Beth Traverso, a highly respected managing broker at ReMax. With her extensive experience in the real estate industry, Beth understands firsthand how vital home staging is in boosting a property’s appeal. Working alongside her is always a pleasure, as she consistently prioritizes staging for her listings, fully recognizing its essential role in achieving successful sales.
What challenges did we have to overcome when staging this property?
One of the challenges we faced when staging this home was working with its pre-listing condition. Each room had its own unique paint color, which made it tricky to visualize the home’s full potential at first. We love to add color or complementary accents to highlight a home’s features, but with so many different tones, it was a bit challenging to create a cohesive design right away. However, after conducting our pre-listing consultation and offering tailored recommendations, such as updated paint colors and finishes, the design process became much more streamlined, helping us bring the vision to life.
Another challenge was creating a sense of flow throughout the home. The floor plan had some closed-off areas, which can make a space feel smaller if not staged thoughtfully. After the homeowners implemented the recommended paint updates, the flow between rooms improved significantly.
Our spatial planning and careful design choices then brought everything together, creating a warm, cohesive atmosphere that felt open and inviting. These updates helped us highlight the home’s best features and ensure it was ready to shine for potential buyers!
What features in the home did we showcase?
One of the key features we showcased in this home was its beautiful natural lighting. With the fresh, neutral paint colors applied throughout the home after our pre-listing consultation, the natural light could really shine, making the space feel open, airy, and bright. We chose light and bright design elements to complement and enhance this feature, creating an inviting atmosphere that potential buyers could easily imagine themselves living in.
We also highlighted the updates made throughout the home as a result of our consultation. The new finishes and fixtures gave the home a modern, refreshed look, which, paired with the natural light, brought out the best in every room. Our goal was to make sure each space felt cohesive and updated, helping buyers see the full potential of this refreshed home.
What was our main focus when staging the home?
Our main focus when staging this home was to create a space that gave the sellers confidence when listing their property. By recommending fresh paint and a few strategic updates prior to listing, we completely transformed the feel of the home.
